SAVE Coventry Speedway & Stox are delighted to announce we will have a major presence with a double-stand at Motofest this summer.
Coventry Motofest is an annual event which has rapidly grown since its inception, and is expected to attract up to 150,000 people.
This year it takes place on Saturday June 2 and Sunday June 3, and it is the largest free urban motorsport festival in the UK.
It includes motorsport demonstrations and static displays from a wide variety of disciplines, and provides a worthy celebration of the unique motorsport heritage of Coventry.
As a ‘first’ for the event in 2018, it will also feature time trial events drawn from the British Automobile Racing Club’s various championship series.
These will take place on the Coventry Ring Road – the first time competitive motorsport has been hosted on a UK city centre circuit since the 1990 Birmingham Superprix, which was part of the FIA Formula 3000 (now F2) series.
We would like to thank the organisers for allowing us the opportunity to further publicise the fight to return speedway and stock car racing to their rightful home over this weekend.
