TONIGHT'S rewind (Friday March 12, 7.30pm) goes back to one of the most talked-about meetings in the early Elite League era as the Bees took on the Oxford Silver Machine.
Coventry had made a magnificent start to the season, winning 10 of their opening 12 fixtures of the season in all competitions - although most of the matches were close, as only twice had they reached the 50-point mark.
One of those rare defeats had come at Oxford just over 24 hours earlier in a Good Friday meeting which was dominated by ultra-dusty track conditions, the Silver Machine snatching victory when Lee Richardson fell in Heat 15.
The teams met once again at Brandon where the high emotions between the respective riders and managements was set to continue!
We hope you enjoy the look back.
