AFTER a momentous few weeks, we would like to extend our compliments of the festive season to all supporters of two and four-wheeled action at Brandon.
It's been six long years since speedway and stock cars were evicted but if anyone thought the passage of time would lessen the opposition to the plans of Brandon Estates, recent events have provided an emphatic answer.
We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has contributed, whether you've written a letter or e-mail, helped spread the message, or if you were present at the historic planning committee meeting when the BE application was unanimously refused.
The Notice of Motion agreed earlier this month should now provide the platform for further discussions in the early part of 2023.
The overwhelming wish of the local and wider community is for speedway and stock car racing to return to the stadium, and a process should now be in place to explore ways in which it can happen.
